The Solar Panel charges a 12v battery which stores the energy during the day to then be used at night. The battery is not included but a leisure battery (12v 70-85 Ah), available from camping or car parts shops, is suitable (prices start at around £50).The kits will work all through the year, even in overcast daytime conditions.
